Questions
Do my customers need to download anything?+
No app and no OTP. iPhones have Apple Wallet built in. Many Android phones already have Google Wallet; if not, Google offers a free one-time install, and customers who skip it still get a web card that works exactly the same at your counter.
How much do messages cost?+
Nothing. Messages travel through the card in their wallet, not SMS or WhatsApp, so there's no DLT registration, no template approval and no per-message bill.
What do I need at the counter?+
Any phone with a camera. The scanner runs in the browser. Staff get their own PIN, not your password.
Do I need an Apple developer account?+
No. LoopinCard issues your Apple and Google Wallet cards for you. There's nothing to register.
Is it okay to remind people when they walk past?+
Yes, because nobody is tracking them. The customer saved your card; your shop's location is stored inside it; their phone decides when to show it. They can switch it off any time. We only keep what they type (first name, optional mobile), with consent, in line with India's DPDP Act 2023.
What happens when I pass 100 regulars on the free plan?+
Your existing customers keep their cards and stamps. New sign-ups pause until you upgrade, and you can upgrade or cancel any time.
